January 1, 2026, marks more than just the beginning of a new calendar year – it is the official founding date of Funkfreunde TT.

 

While the world was welcoming the New Year, we came together to give our shared passion for radio technology a dedicated home. The idea was born out of a desire to create a community centered around the exchange of frequencies, technology, and radio operations – straightforward, passionate, and forward-looking.

With the symbolic starting signal on New Year's Day 2026, we laid the foundation for an interest group that brings radio enthusiasts together. Our goal is to promote the hobby of amateur radio on a supra-regional level, to share knowledge, and to go "on air" together.

What began on January 1, 2026, is the prelude to many exciting connections, technical projects, and a strong community under the callsign of camaraderie: DL0FTT.
